We had a wonderful stay at a lovely old house with amazing views. The village had interesting history and great walking trails right at our doorstep. The outdoor tables offered a perfect spot to enjoy the surroundings. The staff were helpful and friendly, and there were pubs and restaurants within a short drive. The property itself had plenty of communal space for relaxation and entertainment.

The rooms were tightly packed and we could hear noise through the walls. The self-catering facilities were a bit tight, but manageable if everyone ate or cooked at different times.

The breakfast provided was excellent, with a wide variety of options to choose from.

    All was well, no complaints.

I recently stayed at Yha in Eyam for a few nights and had a wonderful time. The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help. The room was spotless and the price was very reasonable. I loved the convenient location for exploring the area and the self-catering facilities were a great bonus. The beds were comfortable and having a sink in the room was convenient. The atmosphere was welcoming, with both staff and other guests being friendly and chatty. it was a fantastic stay and I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Yha.

Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

The location of Yha Eyam is absolutely breathtaking, nestled in the heart of the National Park. The beautiful village of Eyam, with its rich history and craft center, is just a short distance away. The old building adds character and charm to the hostel, and the warden was incredibly nice, friendly, and helpful throughout my stay. The option to cook and eat your own food in a separate building was a great convenience, and the drying room for wet walking gear was much appreciated. Additionally, the 4-bed room for families offered great value.

One small drawback was that the catering kitchen was so clean that there were no leftovers like salt or oil, so you had to bring your own. Additionally, the availability of the restaurant was limited to breakfast only, making it difficult for those with specific dietary restrictions.

If you're looking for a unique experience, this hostel is definitely worth checking out. It's nestled on top of a hill in a charming village, providing some amazing views. Rooms are clean and spacious with accessible bathrooms. the hostel staff provide excellent service, and there's plenty of information about the area's history. Met some wonderful people while cooking with the communal kitchen facilities.

Though it may be a bit of a trek to get to, the hostel's location is worth it for the stunning views and unique experience.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in so many ways. the location on the hill above the village provided stunning views across the valley. It was a real treat to wake up to such a beautiful sight. Secondly, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and were always on hand to offer local tips and advice. Lastly, I was impressed with the attention to detail in the basic amenities. The rooms with shared bathrooms were clean and well-maintained, and the redecoration in the shower room was a nice touch. this hotel offered great value for money and I would highly recommend it.

All was okay, but a minor improvement could be made in the comfort of the beds.

The location of this hostel is great, with a lot of activities to do in the nearby area and astonishing views. the hostel offers a great investment opportunity for those who love to cook by having a wide array of kitchen equipment. the staff is always available to give advice on the places to go and the activities to do.

The beds in this hostel are shocking and seriously affecting the sleeping experience. Bunks are old and creaky, making a lot of noise during the night.

The food was tasty and the staff was friendly and helpful. We also appreciated the convenient location near the local pub and some lovely walks. the shared facilities were clean, although we had to share a toilet and shower with other guests.

Our romantic escape was somewhat marred by the uncomfortable beds and the noisy environment. the creaky bunk beds made it difficult to get a good night's sleep and the heating system could not be switched off, which made the room uncomfortably hot.
